The Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, stated that the state government had made all arrangements for Baba’s grand royal procession, which was welcomed with great enthusiasm. Flower petals were showered along the procession route, including on Baba’s palanquin. On the occasion of the Vijayadashami festival this year, Baba Mahakal will once again grace the public with his presence through a procession. Dr. Yadav prayed to Baba Mahakal that his blessings always remain upon the people of the state, and he hoped that the benevolent Lord Mahakal would bring welfare and alleviate everyone’s sorrows.
The devotees were overwhelmed by a glimpse of the three-eyed Lord. The royal procession of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar was taken out with great pomp on Monday, August 18th, at 4 pm, as part of the processions held during the Shravan-Bhadrapada month this year. Dr. Yadav performed the puja of Lord Chandramouleshwar in the assembly hall. The Lord Chandramouleshwar, seated in a silver palanquin, toured the city to inquire about his people’s well-being, and the entire Ujjain resonated with the chants of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar’s victory. The eyes of the devotees, immersed in the devotion of Lord Shri Mahakal, in all directions were overwhelmed by a glimpse of the three-eyed Lord Shri Shiva.
