During a DMK booth agents’ gathering, he declared that the 2026 Assembly elections are vital for defending Tamil Nadu’s land, pride, and language. Stalin referenced the AIADMK’s shifting political alliances, particularly the actions of Edappadi K Palaniswami, suggesting a betrayal of prior commitments. He asserted that the BJP’s ideology is incompatible with the Tamil people. The Deputy CM also criticized the central government’s allocation of funds, citing discrepancies in educational funding between Tamil Nadu and other states. He provided an update on Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s health and praised the Chief Minister’s continued dedication. Udhayanidhi reflected on the leadership of M. Karunanidhi and emphasized the significance of the DMK-led INDIA bloc. He highlighted the DMK government’s accomplishments, such as the Women’s Rights Scheme and Tamil Nadu’s economic performance, and recognized the booth agents’ contributions to the party.
