Get ready for ‘Trishul’ (TSE-2025), a major tri-services exercise led by the Indian Navy, kicking off in early November 2025. This collaborative venture with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force focuses on enhancing interoperability and validating joint procedures across all defense domains. The Headquarters Western Naval Command is orchestrating extensive operations spanning Rajasthan and Gujarat’s desert and creek regions, complemented by critical amphibious maneuvers in the North Arabian Sea. Multiple formations, including the Army Southern Command and Air Force’s South Western Air Command, along with the Western Naval Command, will participate. This integrated approach also involves the Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, and various other government agencies, emphasizing seamless inter-agency coordination. ‘Trishul’ aims to synchronize operational techniques, improve the integration of platforms and infrastructure, build robust network connections between services, and develop advanced multi-domain warfare capabilities. The exercise will prominently feature naval warships, Air Force fighter jets, amphibious assault ships like INS Jalashwa, and landing craft. Joint efforts in intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and cyber warfare will be crucial. The exercise will also highlight India’s indigenous defense manufacturing prowess under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ mission and adapt strategies for future security challenges. ‘Trishul’ is a testament to the unified strength of India’s defense forces and their readiness to safeguard the nation.
