Dwarka Police have cracked down on an interstate liquor smuggling network, arresting three smugglers and seizing a substantial quantity of illicit alcohol. The operation yielded 40 cartons, amounting to 2,000 quarters of illegal liquor, which originated from Haryana and was destined for sale within Delhi. The arrested trio, Sunny, Riti alias Ritik, and Ajit, were apprehended in Najafgarh and Haryana. A scooter used to transport the contraband has also been confiscated. The Special Staff team of Dwarka District implemented strategic surveillance and utilized local informants to gather crucial intelligence leading to the arrests. The operation underscores the police’s commitment to combating the illegal liquor trade that exploits interstate borders for profit. The investigation continues to trace the supply chain.
