Following the tragic death of a teenage girl in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, police have arrested a 20-year-old man. The arrest of Rajiv Kumar occurred within half a day of the crime in Amiyawala village, Jaspur. The charges include rape and murder, with a sharp-edged blade used in the attack. The police have collected the blade and the suspect’s clothing as evidence. The victim, an eighth-grade student, was gathering food for her animal in a sugarcane field when the assault took place. The accused is alleged to have raped the girl before killing her.
