Shiv Sena (UBT), under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, is gearing up for a statewide protest starting Wednesday. The primary demand of the agitation is the revocation of the Jan Suraksha Kanoon. The planned protests will be conducted at the district level. A major demonstration is scheduled at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Shivaji Park, Mumbai.
Notable leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray and Sachin Ahir, are expected to take part in the agitation. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has strongly opposed the bill in the Maharashtra Assembly.
