Rahul Gandhi, a prominent figure in the Congress party, has been vocal about allegations of vote theft, directing his criticism towards the BJP. He is set to hold a press conference on Thursday, sparking speculation about significant announcements regarding electoral malpractices. Gandhi previously mentioned his intention to unveil a ‘hydrogen bomb’ on the issue of vote theft.
During a ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ event in Patna, Bihar, on September 1, Gandhi stated that his party would soon launch a ‘hydrogen bomb’ against vote theft, following a prior ‘atom bomb’ reveal. He added that after the hydrogen bomb, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not be able to face the public.
The press conference will take place at the Indira Bhawan auditorium in the national capital at 10 a.m. on Thursday. This was announced by Pawan Khera, head of the Congress media and publicity department, via social media.
On August 7, in his previous press conference, Gandhi analyzed the 2024 general election data from a Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka, alleging vote theft. He accused the Election Commission of collaborating with the BJP to manipulate votes, labeling it as unconstitutional.
During the Bihar campaign, Gandhi framed vote theft as the theft of various rights, including rights, reservations, employment, education, and democracy, along with the future of the youth. He stated that this theft would lead to the transfer of people’s assets. He said that the forces behind Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination are now trying to destroy the constitution. He vowed to prevent this.
Gandhi also said that the youth were protesting and chanting against the alleged vote theft. He mentioned that the BJP supporters were showing black flags. He then made a statement about the hydrogen bomb. He said that after the hydrogen bomb, PM Narendra Modi will not be able to show his face to the country.
Ahead of the press conference, Gandhi also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging for a swift assessment of the damage caused by the floods in Punjab and requesting a comprehensive relief package for the affected people.
