During his address through the Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significance of adopting Swadeshi practices across India. In the 125th episode, he urged citizens to take pride in choosing Indian-made products and incorporating them into their lives.
Modi highlighted that the festive season, including Ganesh Utsav and other upcoming celebrations, presents an opportunity to embrace Swadeshi. He encouraged the use of Indian-made gifts, clothing, decorations, and lighting. The Prime Minister’s message focused on incorporating Swadeshi in every aspect of life, promoting the idea of “Say with Pride: This is Swadeshi!” He reiterated the importance of Vocal for Local, self-reliance, and a developed India. The Prime Minister also noted the growing global appreciation for Indian culture and the Ramayana, pointing to the recent installation of a large statue in Canada.
