The 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be released soon, but the exact date remains unconfirmed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to release the ₹2,000 installment in July 2025. Under this scheme, funds are typically disbursed every four months. The 19th installment was issued in February 2025. Farmers are advised to take proactive steps to avoid any payment delays. Essential prerequisites include completing e-KYC, linking Aadhaar and bank accounts, providing accurate bank details, updating land records, ensuring active and correct mobile numbers, and confirming their name on the beneficiary list. Errors, especially in address details, can lead to ineligibility. Farmers can rectify address errors by visiting the PM-Kisan website at https://pmkisan.gov.in or by visiting a Common Service Center. E-KYC is a compulsory step to receive the payment, which can be done via OTP, biometric verification, or face authentication. Farmers can check their installment status on the PM-Kisan website. To be eligible, farmers must be Indian citizens who own cultivable land and are small or marginal farmers. Those who receive a pension of ₹10,000 or more, pay income tax, or have institutional land are not eligible. New farmers can register for the scheme online.
