Traveling on leave on October 13, 2025, towards Dibrugarh, Sepoy Sunil from the 456 Field Hospital was in the S4 coach when the infant began experiencing critical breathing difficulties and lost consciousness. Passengers watched in horror as the baby’s mother, overcome by the situation, also collapsed. Sepoy Sunil, demonstrating remarkable presence of mind, immediately stepped in.
