Travelers between Odisha and Gujarat will soon benefit from the new Amrit Bharat Express train. The service is designed to shorten travel times and create better connections between the two regions. The train will depart from Udhna railway station in Surat and arrive at Brahmapur railway station in Odisha. The train will provide high-quality travel experiences for all, especially for those from low-income backgrounds. It will serve a number of key stations on its route: Rayagada, Vizianagaram, Nandurbar, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Palasa, Badnera, Raipur, and Titlagarh. The date of the train’s official launch has yet to be announced, but it is rumored that Prime Minister Modi might launch the train during his upcoming visit to Odisha on September 27.
The Amrit Bharat Express is engineered to run at speeds ranging from 160 to 180 km/h. It will have 23 coaches in total: 11 general class, 8 sleeper class, 1 pantry car, and 2 second class. A coach will be specifically allocated for disabled passengers. The new train is particularly helpful for migrant workers, providing them with a convenient transport option. Passengers will be able to enjoy fast and efficient travel, even during the busiest times of the year.
