Odisha Gears Up for PM Modi’s Visit: Major Projects and Infrastructure Boost Planned

On September 27, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Odisha, with a program scheduled at the Amlipali ground in Jharsuguda at 11:30 AM. The visit involves the launch of development projects totaling more than Rs 60,000 crore. Among the key projects, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for three new railway initiatives worth Rs 1700 crore. In addition, the Amrit Bharat Express, which will link Surat, Gujarat, with Brahmapur, Odisha, will be flagged off. The visit also includes the commissioning of over 97,500 mobile 4G towers, a project valued at Rs 37,000 crore.
