On Tuesday evening in Noida Phase 1, Bajrang Dal activists caused significant disruption following the discovery of a dead calf. The activists, angered by the discovery of the animal’s remains in a drain, gathered near the Shani temple and attempted to block the road in protest. Seeing the escalating situation, law enforcement intervened to calm the demonstrators.
The police reported that individuals had alerted them to the presence of a cow’s carcass in a secluded area near the Shani temple in Sector 14A. Bajrang Dal members raised concerns about the possibility of the calf being killed. Before the police could arrive, Bajrang Dal members and other Hindu groups had already assembled in large numbers, leading to protests.
The protesters chanted religious slogans, with some attempting to block the road. The discovery of the cow carcass triggered concern among local residents. Investigations showed that the carcass was several days old and decomposing.
Police officials assured the public that an investigation would be conducted and that those responsible would be held accountable. ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh stated that police are working to resolve the situation. The police promised to apprehend the suspects within 48 hours, and a thorough investigation is underway, with appropriate action to follow.
