Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the approval of the ‘Chief Minister-Promotion of Readiness, Awareness and Technical Insights for Guiding Youth Advancement’ scheme, under the ‘7 Nischay-2’ initiative. The scheme is designed to enhance the skills and employability of the youth in Bihar. The program will offer internships to one lakh youths from 2025-2026 to 2030-2031. Financial stipends will be provided, including ₹4,000 for 12th pass, ₹5,000 for ITI/diploma holders, and ₹6,000 for graduates/postgraduates. Simultaneously, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has raised objections against the ECI regarding the ongoing SIR of electoral rolls. He alleges that the process is intended to undermine voting rights and potentially influence the election outcome. Yadav also expressed fears of President’s rule being imposed in the state.
