Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended the TV9 Bharatvarsh Satta Sammelan in Bhopal, where he reflected on his younger years. The Chief Minister spoke about his experiences assisting his father at the tea, jalebi, and poha shop in Ujjain’s tobacco market. He noted that he is still known as the ‘chaiwala’ and ‘panwala’ by many, as he used to manage the shop, study, and campaign for elections from there.
He explained that his father initially ventured into business. Regarding education, he shared that basic schooling is usually completed by the 10th grade, after which individuals gain expertise in different subjects. He added that those interested in business can pursue their chosen field after the 10th grade. His father had instructed him after the 11th grade to study as much as he wished, but also provided him with a shop.
CM Yadav highlighted that he subsequently became involved in the shop. He said he makes excellent tea and poha and invited people to visit and try his offerings, promising a pleasant experience. He acknowledged that he could also be called a tea seller or a cow rearer, stating that these are his traditions.
