Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Croatia, concluding a three-nation tour with a historic visit. This marks the first time an Indian Prime Minister has visited Croatia, signifying a new chapter in bilateral relations. After attending the G7 Summit in Canada, Modi landed in Zagreb, where he received a ceremonial welcome.
In Croatia, PM Modi will hold discussions with Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and meet with President Zoran Milanovic. The visit aims to strengthen cooperation between the two nations, particularly in areas of mutual interest. It also reflects India’s commitment to deepening its engagement with the European Union.
Reflecting on his visit to Canada, Modi noted the productive discussions at the G7 Summit, focusing on global issues. He also participated in a session on energy security, emphasizing India’s approach to ensuring energy access, affordability, and sustainability.
