Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who had completed a space journey, was given a grand welcome in Lucknow. BJP workers showered flower petals on Shukla’s convoy near the Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan. Shukla, the second Indian astronaut to return home after completing the Axiom-4 mission, was the recipient of a warm and enthusiastic welcome. The astronaut’s arrival was marked by great excitement, with people waving the Indian flag.
