Young Woman’s Agony: Boyfriend’s Suicide Leaves Community in Shock

The incident took place in Undu village, Rajasthan, on September 21st. The sound of a girl’s screams alerted the community. Upon investigation, a young man, Shaukat Khan, was found dead. His girlfriend was inconsolable, embracing his body and expressing her sorrow. She lamented his decision to leave her and expressed her despair. Shaukat’s brother, Jumma Khan, arrived at the scene and was also overcome with grief. The police were called and began their investigation. The girlfriend, who is from Jharkhand, revealed that she was preparing food in the kitchen when she went to call Shaukat. The door was locked. Through the window, she witnessed Shaukat hanging. She then informed Shaukat’s brother about the incident. Jumma Khan, who worked with Shaukat in the furniture business, stated that Shaukat had brought his girlfriend from Jharkhand some time ago, and she had been living with them since. He added that Shaukat would have confided in him if he had any problems. Neighbors mentioned that the girlfriend’s family had come to take her back about 10 days prior, but she refused, choosing to stay with Shaukat. The police are investigating the case and trying to determine the cause of the suicide.
