A distinct shift towards winter has been observed in Jharkhand, with temperatures notably declining. Laher district has experienced a dip to a minimum temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius, signaling the onset of colder weather. Experts forecast a continued downward trend in temperatures across the state, including the capital city, Ranchi, in the upcoming days. According to meteorological reports, the state will largely experience clear skies. However, morning and night hours are likely to be accompanied by fog in several districts, while daytime may feature intermittent cloud formations, further lowering temperatures.
In the last day, the highest temperature recorded was 32.3 degrees Celsius in Saraikela. The state has remained dry, with no precipitation recorded. A week prior, persistent rainfall had saturated the ground, leading to elevated levels of humidity in the air. This lingering moisture is a key factor behind the sharp cold felt during the dawn and dusk periods.
Meanwhile, Ranchi and its surrounding areas enjoyed a bright and sunny Tuesday morning. Maximum temperatures noted were: Ranchi 26.4°C, Jamshedpur 31.8°C, Daltonganj 31°C, Bokaro 28.1°C, and Chaibasa 30.8°C.
