On Monday, Welfare Minister Shri Chamra Linda reviewed the scholarship scheme and strictly directed officials that students should not face any delay in receiving their scholarships under any circumstances. He expressed concern over the slow pace of 100% scholarship distribution in Bokaro, Chatra, and Giridih districts for the financial year 2024-25 for pre-matriculation scholarships for classes 1-8 and classes 9-10, and post-matriculation scholarships. He directed the District Welfare Officers of Bokaro, Chatra, and Giridih districts to explain the reasons.
Take timely action regarding scholarship payment
Welfare Minister Shri Chamra Linda strictly directed the District Welfare Officers to complete the process related to scholarship payments as soon as possible, before the end of the current academic session. He also directed the Deputy Commissioners of all districts to convene timely district-level committee meetings and approve pending scholarship applications.
