The footage, originating from Chapi village, shows the woman carefully maneuvering across the broken iron structure. Her cautious and determined approach has drawn comparisons to a ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ contestant, reflecting the inherent danger and difficulty of the crossing.
Following the video’s viral spread, the local administration has responded. The District Commissioner of Bokaro has initiated an investigation and tasked the Peterwar BDO with developing a solution. This incident underscores the infrastructure challenges faced by the community, similar to the situation in Khunti district where a bridge collapse on the Banai River has led to significant disruption, forcing villagers to travel long distances and impacting children’s access to school.
