In Gumla district, Jharkhand, a man has been accused of murdering his sister-in-law. The incident occurred in the Ghaghra police station area. The man had requested ₹200 from his sister-in-law for chicken. After she refused, he attacked her, leading to her death. The suspect fled the scene.
The incident took place in Gutwa Jokari village. The accused, identified as Tejwa Lohra, was visiting his in-laws. He asked his sister-in-law, Salma Lohrain, for ₹200, wanting to buy chicken. She declined, explaining that she didn’t have the money at the time. This led to a violent altercation. Lohra used a weapon to attack Salma, who died instantly. The police were informed when the victim’s husband, Samad Lohra, found his wife’s body upon his return. Authorities have initiated a search for the suspect.
