Parsabad witnessed the grand conclusion of the 14th Kirtan Samarooh, a spiritual gathering organized by the Shri Shyam Seva Mandal. The event was a testament to unwavering faith and vibrant celebration. Roshan Chawla and his wife Anu Chawla, serving as hosts, initiated the proceedings with sacred prayers. The successful and well-organized event saw a massive turnout of devotees from the Jhumri Tilaiya and Parsabad regions, infusing the air with divine energy. Notable attendees included Jankhi Prasad Yadav, the former MLA of Barkatha. The Kirtan featured devotional performances by both local talent and renowned artists who offered their tributes to Baba Shyam. Post-Kirtan, the Mandal convened a meeting to deliberate on upcoming activities. A significant announcement was made regarding the upcoming annual festival, promising an even grander celebration this year. Mandal President Joshi Kumar informed attendees that the next kirtan is scheduled for December 28th. The highly anticipated annual festival will unfold on January 19th and 20th. A major highlight will be the performance by the celebrated Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal on January 20th, generating considerable excitement among the faithful. The primary festivities will be held at Block Maidan. The day before the main event, January 19th, will feature a spectacular procession commencing from Addi Bangla, winding through key city landmarks before culminating at Block Maidan. The Shyam Seva Mandal extends an invitation to all devotees to join in and contribute to the festival’s success.
