The vibrant 5-day Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JESOW A) Diwali Mela 2025 commenced today at Ranchi’s Morahabadi Maidan, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren presiding over the formal inauguration. MLA Kalpana Soren joined the Chief Minister for the auspicious occasion. Chief Minister Soren remarked on JESOW A’s enduring dedication to social causes throughout its journey, celebrating its 25th anniversary. This year marks another grand celebration of the Diwali Mela at the iconic Morahabadi ground, filled with festive spirit and excitement.
He further elaborated that the core mission behind organizing the JESOW A Mela is to channel all its earnings towards the welfare of the economically disadvantaged and to support various social development initiatives. The association’s contributions to education and healthcare are significant. The event also featured the presentation of awards for exceptional social work and the unveiling of a new library, both facilitated by JESOW A.
While many organizations host seasonal fairs, Chief Minister Soren commended JESOW A for its unwavering focus on the welfare of the poor and needy since its inception. He extended his sincere appreciation and best wishes to the JESOW A members and leadership for their impactful social contributions, hoping their services continue to reach the marginalized. The Chief Minister conveyed his warm congratulations for the successful launch of the JESOW A Mela 2025.
