Ranchi Smart City: A State-of-the-Art Infrastructure
Construction of state-of-the-art infrastructure is rapidly underway in Ranchi Smart City, with the Greenfield township being developed on 656 acres strategically located near the CBD, proposed capital complex, airport, and Hatia railway station. This area is emerging as an ideal hub for attracting future investment, developing technical institutions, startup ecosystems, and knowledge-based industries.
Ranchi Smart City Will Have All Basic Amenities
With the aim of making Ranchi a future-ready smart city, 37% of the land has been secured as open and green space. A 24×7 gas-insulated power station and water supply network have been developed. Additionally, 40% of the treated water from the 16 MLD capacity STP is proposed for non-potable uses, promoting water conservation and sustainable urban management. Along with this, the underground wiring model, roadside utility duct system, and state-of-the-art urban services are playing a significant role in making the city clean, safe, and environmentally balanced.
