Political temperatures are rising in Ranchi as BJP Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu has fiercely countered Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s controversial “ox” comment. Sahu passionately defended the individual, stating that the “ox” in the CM’s eyes represents an elected official chosen by millions and a key figure in the tribal community. He eloquently described the ox as the embodiment of villages, poverty, and agriculture, essential for the livelihood of countless people. Sahu lamented that some individuals, blinded by arrogance, insult such vital symbols after benefiting from their labor. He declared that the collective voice of the village, the poor, and the farmer is now aligned with this “ox,” which is fueled by public anger and solidarity. This symbol, Sahu pointed out, is also a former Chief Minister and a long-standing favorite of the electorate. Issuing a stern warning, he predicted that the public’s response to this insult would be significant, urging the Hemant government to brace itself for retribution. Sahu detailed the public’s grievances, citing widespread corruption, and critical failures in healthcare, education, and basic amenities, coupled with the plunder of natural resources and a growing climate of fear for young people and women, even within educational institutions.
