The Ranchi district administration is working to finalize preparations for President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled two-day visit. A significant meeting was convened on Saturday at the Collectorate Auditorium, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.
The meeting focused on various aspects of the visit, including security, traffic management, reception arrangements, and the readiness of the event venues. Deputy Commissioner Bhajantri provided detailed instructions to all departments, highlighting the importance of a seamless and respectful visit. He also reviewed essential services such as sanitation, healthcare, water supply, toilet facilities, parking, fire safety measures, and route security, assigning deadlines for completion. The police force has been directed to maintain a high level of alertness.
Officials were encouraged to perform their duties with vigilance and sensitivity. The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that the progress of preparations would be consistently reviewed and closely scrutinized.
Attendees included Ranchi’s Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha, Additional District Magistrate Rajeshwarnath Alok, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar, Traffic Superintendent of Police Kailash Karmali, Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Urvashi Pandey, and other officials from various departments.
