Paschim Singhbhum district is seeing a surge in the new Home Guard recruitment process. Under the guidance of District Magistrate Chandan Kumar, who also serves as the Deputy Commissioner and President of the Home Guard Nomination Committee, physical and written examinations are scheduled to begin on July 20, 2025, and continue until August 2, 2025. The venue for the exams is the Zilla School मैदान, Chaibasa, near the railway station, with sessions starting daily at 6 AM. The exam dates are allocated according to the blocks. Tantnagar candidates will take the exam on July 20, followed by Khuntpani on July 21, Noamundi and Jhikpani on July 22, Kumarudungi and Manjhari on July 23, Goilkera and Gudri on July 24, Chakradharpur on July 25 and 26, Bandgaon on July 27, Anandpur and Hatgamharia on July 28, Jagannathpur and Manjhgaon on July 29, Sonua on July 30, and Manoharpur and Sadar Rural Chaibasa on July 31 and August 1. The exams for Tonto and urban (technical and non-technical) candidates will be on August 2. The district administration urges all male and female applicants to appear on the specified dates with all required documents.
