Parsabad vibrated with divine energy as the Shri Shyam Seva Mandal successfully hosted its 14th Kirtan Samaroh. The auspicious ceremony began with prayers led by hosts Roshan Chawla and Anu Chawla. The event drew a massive crowd of devotees from Jhumri Tilaiya and the Parsabad region, creating an overwhelmingly spiritual ambiance. The gathering was graced by the presence of Barkatha’s former MLA, Janaki Prasad Yadav.
Both local talents and visiting artists rendered soulful bhajans at the altar of Baba Shyam. Post-kirtan, the Mandal convened a meeting to outline upcoming activities. It was announced that the annual festival would be a grand affair. Mandal President Joshi Kumar shared that the next kirtan is scheduled for December 28th. The much-awaited annual festival is slated for January 19th and 20th. Devotees are particularly excited about the confirmed presence of popular bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal on January 20th.
The main festivities are scheduled for January 20th at the Block Maidan. Prior to this, on January 19th, a spectacular procession will wind its way from Addi Bangla, covering key areas like Station Road, Jhanda Chowk, Purnima Talkies, Maharana Pratap Chowk, and Service Road, culminating at the Block Maidan. The Shyam Seva Mandal extends an invitation to all devotees to participate wholeheartedly and ensure the festival’s grand success.
