Uttar Pradesh is also experiencing high temperatures.
Delhi is predicted to have a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius today, with dusty winds and heat waves expected during the day. A weather shift is anticipated in the evening, bringing thunderstorms and light rain late at night. This could be followed by rain from June 13th to 16th, offering respite from the heat for Delhi NCR residents.
Uttar Pradesh may witness light showers in some areas, while heat waves are expected in others. The monsoon’s arrival in UP is expected around June 15th, offering a potential easing of the heat.
Bihar and Jharkhand are also facing varied weather conditions. Bihar saw heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in several districts. In Jharkhand, thunderstorms, strong winds, and lightning are anticipated throughout the day. Rajasthan is suffering from intense heat, with potential rainfall expected soon. Madhya Pradesh has issued heatwave alerts for several districts.
Heavy rainfall is forecast for parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
