The state of Jharkhand is expanding its presence with the upcoming construction of a Jharkhand Bhawan in Navi Mumbai, following the existing one in Delhi. This new facility, located in the Vashi area, will be a modern structure built with an investment of approximately 136 crore rupees. It will include specialized areas to accommodate the Governor and Chief Minister, along with executive and deluxe rooms designed for VIP guests. The project is projected to be completed within two years.
The construction site encompasses 63.65 decimal land on plot number 2C, Sector 30A in Vashi, Mumbai. The multi-story building will feature a basement, a ground floor, and seven floors above. The basement will provide parking for vehicles, with spaces for 27 cars and 137 bikes. The ground floor will contain a dining hall, kitchen facilities, a gym, and a VIP waiting area. The first floor is planned to house a VIP waiting lounge, a seminar hall, and an exhibition hall. The second floor will consist of chambers for the Resident Secretary, along with meeting and waiting rooms. The third and fourth floors will each incorporate 10 dormitories, each accommodating 57 beds. The fifth floor is designated for deluxe rooms, providing lodging for special guests. The sixth floor will consist of executive rooms for very important guests. The seventh floor will be allocated to the Governor and Chief Minister, including the Chief Minister’s chamber, master bedrooms, living areas, and meeting spaces.
