A tragic incident in Jharkhand has resulted in the deaths of a young couple. The man allegedly murdered his girlfriend at a fair in Lohardaga district before taking his own life. The Serengdag police responded to the scene and recovered the bodies, initiating an investigation into the matter.
The couple, identified as Jaynath Oraon and his girlfriend, both residents of the Serengdag police station area, had gone to a chariot fair when an argument broke out. This led to the man attacking his girlfriend with a sharp weapon, killing her instantly. He then fled to a nearby forest where he committed suicide by hanging.
