JMM leader Supriyo Bhattacharya mourned the loss of Shibu Soren, the party’s founder, calling it a ‘collapse of the Himalayas.’
He emphasized that while Shibu Soren may be physically absent, his ideals and teachings will forever inspire. Bhattacharya highlighted Soren’s life as a testament to unwavering struggle, consistently championing social justice and never backing down.
He noted that Soren’s efforts empowered marginalized communities, including tribals, Dalits, laborers, and women, to fight for their rights. Bhattacharya concluded that Guruji illuminated the path of education to combat ignorance, struggle to end exploitation, and a life of dignity.
