Jayant Kumar Singh has been arrested by the police from the Sarnath area of Varanasi for allegedly threatening Jharkhand’s Health Minister, Dr. Irfan Ansari. The mobile phone used to make the threats has been recovered. The suspect is an MBBS student. Following threats made to Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari, an FIR was registered at the Steel City police station in Bokaro district. The complaint revealed that Dr. Ansari received numerous calls from the same number, with the caller issuing threats. After the case was filed, Jharkhand Police traced the phone number. However, the accused, Jayant Kumar Singh, kept changing his location. With the help of the Sarnath police, Jharkhand Police arrested Jayant Kumar Singh on Thursday near Ghazipur. He was caught while trying to escape. The police apprehended Jayant Kumar Singh. The arrested individual, Jayant Kumar, is an MBBS graduate and was preparing for a master’s degree in medicine. He was trying to escape to Ghazipur. He was apprehended near Audhihar via road transport bus. He also has a house in Shillong, Meghalaya.
