The weather department forecasts no possibility of rain in the state until June 11. Heatwaves are likely in Bundelkhand, Vindhya, and adjoining areas from June 9 to 11. From June 11, easterly winds may become active in eastern Uttar Pradesh, potentially bringing rain.
**Weather Overview: Bihar and Jharkhand**
Most districts in Bihar will experience dry weather today. Patna’s maximum temperature will be 37 degrees Celsius, and the minimum will be 27 degrees Celsius. The weather department has issued a warning for the return of rain starting June 10. Until then, humid heat is expected. The maximum and minimum temperatures could rise by up to four degrees. Meanwhile, Ranchi, Jharkhand, and several other districts might see light rain and thunderstorms this evening.
**Heatwave in Select States, Rain in Northeast**
Heatwaves are expected in western Rajasthan from June 8-11, Punjab and Haryana from June 9-11, and northern Madhya Pradesh on June 9 and 10. South India and the northeastern states could see heavy rainfall starting June 10. Light to moderate rain is expected across most of Northeast India over the next 7 days.
