A public grievance forum was organized by Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari at the Congress Bhavan in Ranchi to expedite the resolution of public issues. The minister immediately instructed the concerned officials to address the problems. A total of 97 people presented their issues, prompting the minister to take immediate action and direct officials to find solutions. The complaints included health center construction, supply department issues, medical concerns, employment matters, disaster management, ration card problems, transfer-related issues, and land disputes, in addition to grievances from various other departments. In several cases, the minister directly instructed officials and urged them to speed up the resolution process. He also asked for updates on the progress. People from several districts, including Ranchi, Gumla, Dhanbad, Palamu, Chatra, Giridih, Hazaribagh, and Khunti, presented their issues. Addressing the media, the minister stated that numerous complaints were received, with land-related problems being the most common. The most frequent complaints were against COs, who were accused of supporting land mafias. The minister asked officials to act in the public interest. Additionally, complaints related to drinking water, police stations, urban development, health, and food supply were also addressed. The minister stated that his goal is to resolve the issues and serve the public effectively. Approximately 90% of the issues have been resolved, with the remaining facing technical obstacles that would be addressed soon. He assured that all applications would be addressed. The public grievance forum benefits both the public and the organization. It’s a good initiative, where people participate when their work gets done.
