Gumla police have successfully solved the murder of businessman Vinod Agrawal, attributing the crime to an old rivalry. Within a day, law enforcement apprehended three individuals: Anchal Bium Tirkey (Chiku), Julian Minj (Julie), and Sameer Toppo. Authorities recovered a rod and a sword used in the killing. Chiku and Julie, previously involved in criminal activities, were out on bail. Initially, the incident was reported as a road accident, but the truth emerged during the investigation, which involved scrutinizing CCTV footage. The investigation revealed that the motive behind the murder was a dispute that occurred during Christmas, where Vinod Agrawal accused Chiku’s elder brother of theft. This accusation led to previous confrontations. Subsequently, Chiku plotted to kill Agrawal. On the day of the murder, Chiku, along with Julian and Sameer, attacked Agrawal. While Chiku used the iron rod, Julian and Sameer were on the lookout with a sword.
