— Shri Hemant Soren, Chief Minister
The government stands with the youth power in the young state at every step. Today, a new chapter is being added to your future. You will now serve as an integral part of the government. I have full faith that you will make a significant contribution to taking the state to new heights. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren was addressing the grand state-level ceremony organized at Morahabadi Maidan, Ranchi on the occasion of the completion of one year of the government. On this occasion, he provided appointment letters to 8792 newly appointed candidates. He said that those who received appointment letters today have strengthened the confidence of at least 50 thousand people.
Heart is both excited and sad
The Chief Minister said that today the state government is celebrating the first anniversary of its second term. This day is very exciting for all of us, but the heart is also a little sad. Because, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren ji is not among us in this historic ceremony. If he were here today, he would have been very happy to see such a large number of youths receiving appointment letters. In this context, the Chief Minister remembered and bowed to the great reformer Jyotiba Phule on his death anniversary.
Today is a historic day
The Chief Minister said that today marks the completion of the first year of the second term of our government. This day is quite historic for many. Because, we have got the opportunity to give appointment letters to such a large number of youth at once. Our government is fully committed to shaping the future of the youth. This year alone, more than 16 thousand youths have been provided government jobs and 8 thousand people have been employed in the non-governmental sector. On the other hand, meaningful initiatives have been taken at the government level in the last few years to connect thousands of people with jobs and employment in government and private sectors. This series of appointments will continue uninterrupted.
Take a resolution to make at least one youth like yourself
In this ceremony, the Chief Minister told the candidates who received appointments that your postings will continue in various districts of the state. In such a situation, you are urged that wherever you go, take a resolution to make at least one young person like yourself. If we succeed in this, then the picture of Jharkhand will surely change.
Complete honesty and transparency are being maintained in appointments
The Chief Minister said that the appointment process is continuing in the state amidst all challenges. Our government is empowering the youth of this state with full dedication, honesty, and transparency. However, there are some elements who are opposing it. But, the government is doing its work without worrying about it. Our aim is to establish a new dimension in this state.
Working with full sensitivity for every class and section of society
The Chief Minister said that our government is working with full sensitivity for every class and section of the state. Tribals, Dalits, Backward classes, women, youth, disabled… the government is giving gifts to everyone. He also said that whether a person is educated, less educated, or illiterate, the government is working to take everyone forward. Efforts are being made to provide employment to everyone according to their qualifications and abilities.
The responsibility to take the state forward lies on all our shoulders
The Chief Minister said that our ancestors fought to get this state. In such a situation, every officer, farmer, youth, female teacher… of this state has an important responsibility to play their role in beautifying and developing this state. With the collective and meaningful efforts of all, Jharkhand can become a strong and robust state.
All-round impact of government’s work is visible
The Chief Minister said that the work done by our government is showing an all-round impact. In this context, the impact of the Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana, started to empower half the population, is fully evident. Today, women are becoming self-reliant by joining this scheme. Referring to a woman who came to receive an appointment letter, he said that she completed her studies with the honorarium received under the Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana and is among us today as an officer. He also said that 40 percent women have been selected in Assistant Teacher and 30 percent in JPSC Civil Services, which is a great example of women’s empowerment.
