Kiran Public School in Koladiha has expanded its offerings with the launch of a new rifle club, inaugurated on the birthday of its founder, Ashok Kumar Singh. The ceremony was graced by Giridih DSP Niraj Kumar Singh, who officially opened the shooting range. The inauguration was a collaborative effort, involving school chairman Ashok Kumar Singh, principal Raghav Bhokta, patron Syed Sabih Ashraf, club vice president Santosh Kumar Mishra, school director and Rifle Association vice president Rajiv Ranjan Singh, and club secretary Ravi Kumar. Congratulating the chairman on his birthday, DSP Singh praised the school’s initiative to establish a shooting range. He expressed his hope that the school would continue to excel in all aspects and nurture responsible and brave individuals for the country. Ashok Kumar Singh, the chairman, spoke about the universal nature of having objectives, with rifle shooting being a significant pursuit. He elaborated on the importance of aim and focus, both in sports and in achieving life’s goals. The school management is dedicated to providing students with training in rifle shooting and other arms, viewing it as crucial for personal safety, societal well-being, and national security. Attendees, including the chief guest and students, participated in a shooting demonstration after the inauguration. The event’s success was also attributed to the hard work of teachers like Choti Rawani, Shikha Swarnima, Preeti Kumari, Neetu Sinha, and Panchanand Kumar.
