A distressing case of food poisoning has emerged in Koderma district, affecting five individuals from the same family. The incident took place in Behradih village, Domchanch block, after the family consumed rice and litti for their meal. Symptoms, including severe diarrhea, began manifesting rapidly across all family members shortly after their meal.
Efforts to treat the illness at home were unsuccessful. When their health continued to deteriorate, they visited a local doctor. However, the medications provided did not alleviate their symptoms, prompting concern. Their condition escalated, necessitating their transfer to Koderma Sadar Hospital. At the hospital, medical staff are administering crucial treatments. All five patients are now stable, and doctors have diagnosed their ailment as food poisoning.
The identified patients are Kanchan Devi (40), her daughters Sweety Kumari (13), Roshni Kumari (16), Reena Kumari (18), and her son Asmit Rajvansh (9).
