Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren is in a critical state following a severe injury sustained in a bathroom incident on Saturday. He was rushed to a private hospital in Delhi for immediate medical attention and is currently receiving treatment.
Initial reports indicate that the minister is on life support as a team of senior specialists closely monitors his health. The incident resulted in a head injury and a blood clot, as confirmed by Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari in a social media update. The minister was subsequently airlifted to Delhi for advanced medical care.
A statement released by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party confirmed that Soren’s condition remains serious, with life support being provided. A dedicated team of senior experts is closely watching his condition and administering the best possible treatment. The accident occurred at his home, and he was first taken to Jamshedpur before being transferred to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited the hospital and spoke with doctors, seeking information about the minister’s health. He expressed his support, highlighting Soren’s role in the Jharkhand movement and his confidence in the minister’s resilience. He posted on social media, praying for strength and courage for Soren.
Health Minister Irfan Ansari has gone to Delhi to oversee the treatment. He revealed that Soren suffered a brain injury in the fall. Doctors in Jamshedpur had identified a blood clot, necessitating his transfer to Delhi.
The JMM party also issued a statement on social media, describing Soren’s dedication and service as an inspiration. They stated that Soren is currently receiving treatment in Delhi.
