A statewide special awareness campaign against illegal substances has commenced in East Singhbhum district, as mandated by the state government. The launch took place at the Collectorate. Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi inaugurated the campaign by flagging off an awareness chariot. The chariot is designed to spread the message of drug addiction recovery throughout the district. It will visit different blocks in the district to inform the public about the detrimental effects of drugs. The Deputy Commissioner called upon all segments of society to support the campaign to achieve a drug-free society. The public was encouraged to actively participate and educate others in their surroundings about the dangers of drug abuse. The district administration aims to disseminate the message of freedom from drug addiction across the district and encourage everyone to avoid its harmful effects.
