A video featuring Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari’s son, Krish Ansari, inspecting a hospital has sparked controversy. The BJP has criticized the situation, suggesting the minister has given his son authority over his duties. The video showed Krish at a hospital, with someone heard saying, “The minister’s son is here; tell us what problems you have.” The video was later deleted. Former state minister Bhanu Pratap Shahi from the BJP questioned Irfan Ansari’s actions, wondering if he had delegated his ministerial powers to his son. In response to the ensuing political debate, Dr. Irfan Ansari has defended his son. He stated that the claims about Krish’s actions are unfounded, misleading, and malicious. Ansari clarified that Krish wasn’t there for any inspection or political activity. He went to see his teacher’s father, who was admitted to the hospital. Ansari added that Krish offered assistance to tribal families who approached them for help with their relatives’ treatment at RIMS. He emphasized that Krish acted out of humanity and provided help. Ansari also criticized the political interpretation and twisting of the incident. He highlighted that Krish is a well-mannered student and is currently on vacation in Ranchi. He noted that Krish is the grandson of former MP Furkan Ansari and that helping others is natural for him. Irfan Ansari also criticized the BJP, stating that his son did not crush any farmers, urinate on anyone, or become arrogant with power. Instead, he was there to help those in need.
