Ranchi, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren and MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren today reached Gurunanak School located at P.P. Compound, Ranchi and participated in the 556th “Prakash Utsav” organized on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren bowed before the Guru Granth Sahib and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, progress, and well-being of all the people of Jharkhand. On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the entire Sikh community and the people of the state on the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Kartik Purnima.

The Chief Minister said that I myself come here for a short while every year on this day. I feel immense joy in participating in the “Prakash Utsav” organized on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. This event gives the message of remaining united as a society. The Chief Minister said that social unity is emphasized in the thoughts and words of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

The vision of building a strong society can be realized by following the farsightedness of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the path shown by him, and his ideals. The Chief Minister said that from the thoughts, actions, and dedication of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, we learn that the greatest strength in the world is for all of us to always hold each other’s hands and move forward united. He said that Sikh community members from various parts of the state are reaching here for this “Prakash Utsav” program today. True devotion to Guru Nanak Dev Ji draws people here.
The Chief Minister said that on this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire Sikh community as well as the organizers of “Prakash Utsav” on my behalf. On the occasion, Vice Chairman of the State Minority Commission Shri Jyoti Singh Matharu, President of Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Ranchi Shri Ranjit Singh Happy, Secretary of Gurudwara, Main Road, Ranchi Shri Gagandeep Singh Sethi, and other dignitaries were present.
