Akhilesh Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a sitting MP, visited Nemra, Ramgarh, the ancestral residence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on Tuesday. He offered floral tributes to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and expressed his deep sympathies. During his visit, Yadav met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Basant Soren, and other family members, offering them solace.
He had an emotional meeting with Rupi Soren, the mother of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Yadav told her that the entire state of Jharkhand stood with her in her grief, and that her support would be a source of strength for Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He remembered Shibu Soren’s lifelong dedication to the upliftment of tribal, Dalit, and marginalized communities. Yadav emphasized that the late leader’s life would continue to inspire everyone, and that his legacy as an influential leader who shaped society would endure.
Concurrently, the eighth-day rituals of Shradh were performed for the late Shibu Soren. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family followed traditional customs to ensure peace for the departed soul.
