A comprehensive skills assessment was conducted at the JIIT Academy Computer Center in Khunti Toli, situated on Torpa Road. The examination targeted students who had successfully concluded their six-month and twelve-month training programs. The event saw an impressive turnout, with 75 students actively participating and showcasing their acquired knowledge and practical skills.
Center Director Birendra Nag addressed the participants, wishing them success and underscoring the value of the proficiency test. He explained that the assessment serves as a vital tool for verifying students’ true capabilities and fostering a stronger sense of self-assurance as they move forward in their careers.
Ms. Bulbul Aich, the institute’s Director, clarified that a key objective of the examination is to pinpoint students who might benefit from extra academic guidance. These students will be provided with supplementary training at no cost, enabling them to improve their performance. Additionally, she shared that after completing diploma courses, students can pursue specialized training in areas such as Advanced Diploma, DTP, Programming, Office Support, Internet proficiency, Hindi and English typing, Photoshop, and Tally, all at minimal costs. The institute also plans to offer special discounts on fees for students pursuing advanced studies.
Continuing its tradition of social responsibility, JIIT Academy reaffirmed its commitment to offering free training opportunities to orphaned, destitute, financially struggling, and disabled students, promoting equal access to skill enhancement.
