Today, November 15th, marks the 25th anniversary of Jharkhand’s formation, a milestone celebrated with vibrant cultural events throughout the state. Key political figures, including Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and State BJP President Babulal Marandi, have conveyed their heartfelt felicitations. Governor Gangwar took to X, stating, ‘Jharkhand enters its 25th year of establishment, a testament to our remarkable journey of progress. My best wishes for the well-being of its people and the state’s ongoing development.’ Chief Minister Soren reflected on the day’s significance, saying, ‘This day is a tribute to the sacrifices of our forefathers. Guided by the ideals of visionary leaders like Birsa Munda and the heroes of the Santhal Hool, Jharkhand is advancing in development, preserving its culture, and strengthening its identity. Our government is dedicated to empowering women, educating children, creating jobs for the youth, and ensuring the safety of families.’ Babulal Marandi praised Jharkhand as a land of incredible diversity, blessed with natural splendor, a rich cultural tapestry, and abundant mineral resources. He noted, ‘The spirit of our tribal warriors fuels the inspiration of our younger generations.
