At a TV-9 digital meeting in Gaya, Jan Suraj Party leader and Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey responded to inquiries about Tejashwi Yadav’s educational background. When asked about Prashant Kishor’s frequent comments on Tejashwi Yadav’s educational qualifications, Pandey remarked that the notion that a degree is essential for leadership is false. Pandey shared that he has completed his 12th grade and holds a music degree. The discussion also touched upon the recent scrutiny of Prashant Kishor’s education. Pandey suggested that if Kishor disagreed with the claims of failing ninth grade, he should present his 10th-grade certificate. He also encouraged the media to question Kishor about his degree, recognizing the media’s role in democracy.
Pandey addressed why Prashant Kishor calls Tejashwi Yadav a ninth-grade failure and what bearing this has on politics. He clarified that Kishor would be the best person to answer that question, as he is the one making the statement. Pandey used the current flooding in Raghopur as an example, where the population is severely impacted, in contrast to reports of Tejashwi Yadav celebrating with a cake on a private jet. Pandey highlighted the importance of leaders visiting the areas they are responsible for. He observed that some leaders only conduct aerial surveys during crises, while Prashant Kishor is actively involved. Pandey asserted that Prashant Kishor is currently putting in more effort than any other leader in Bihar and has addressed all accusations against him.
