A recent raid by the Pune Police at a private apartment led to the discovery of a drug party, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals. Pranjal Khewalkar, the son-in-law of former minister Eknath Khadse, was among those arrested. The court has ordered police custody for the accused until July 29. Pranjal Khewalkar is married to Rohini Khadse, the state president of the NCP women’s wing under Sharad Pawar’s faction. Pranjal Khewalkar, described himself as a businessman, social worker and doctor on his Instagram. He is also a producer and entrepreneur, recently releasing a music video. Khewalkar also has business ventures in the sugar, energy, and event management sectors. The police seized drugs, hookah sets, and alcohol. The Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis mentioned he would comment on the situation after a detailed briefing.
