Nizamuddin had been residing in the US since 2016, having gone there for educational pursuits. The incident occurred on September 3rd, at Nizamuddin’s residence in Santa Clara, where he was found with a knife and his roommate had sustained injuries. His family, based in Mahabubnagar, is requesting assistance from the Indian government and the Telangana state government to bring his body back to India. His father, Mohammad Amsuddhin, has reached out to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), seeking their help to bring his son’s remains back to India at the earliest opportunity. Nizamuddin’s father stated he was informed of his son’s death and highlighted that his son had relocated to California on a promotion.
